We have a new home!! We settled on a Townhouse just north of Buckhead in the Sandy Springs area. I'm so glad this is finally done although it's not ours yet until the owner of the property approves the application and the lease is signed. Hopefully this will all happen by Monday.
We arrived back in Colorado yesterday after leaving the 70 degree, sunny and spring in bloom heaven of Atlanta to a cold snowy winter storm blanketing the Denver metro area. I hope this is the last snowfall I see until next year. I think I will embrace and welcome the threat of snow in Atlanta considering that events like this constitute a "snow day" and the city shuts down.
Now the clock is ticking until the movers arrive on Tuesday to begin packing our belongings and load the truck to deliver our goods on April 1. I feel there is so much to do and not enough time to do it, but it will get done and soon be over and our new life will begin. Today is the first day of spring, where new life begins, trees begin to bud (except here) and a fresh start happens. This is perfect timing for us coinciding with the new season.
